THE UNTOUCHABLE DR. WILSON

THE UNTOUCHABLE DR. WILSON is a two-part radio program about the series of events that catapulted Woodrow Wilson into Amerian politics. Recently dismissed as president of Princeton University, Wilson was recruited by New Jersey's Democratic party machine in 1910 to recapture the statehouse after several decades of Republican rule. Once elected, Wilson refused to do their bidding and launched a series of progressive reforms that captured national attention. Two years later he would be nominated for the presidency and became only the second Democrat to serve as president since before the Civil War. Produced and directed by Robert Clem with support from the funders listed below.
