POST CARDS

After the extraordinary sucess of St. Elmo, Augusta Evans Wilson became one of the primary tourist attractions in Mobile. As can be seen in the postcards viewable by clicking on the links below, all three of Augusta's primary residences in Mobile were pictured on postcards, including the house on Government Street she occupied with her brother Howard until his death in 1908, one year before her own.
